Posts discussing music piracy (in the sense of people asking how where or how to pirate music, if you want to have an actual discussion on piracy and how it pertains to the industry, by all means). Software updates are available for free for registered TRAKTOR users via Native Access. Self-promotion posts including mixes, tunes, events, companies, etc. The following topics are against sub rules and will be deleted: Gig pictures/Stories - should be posted in the weekly gigs thread We will also allow high profile posts - say if a regular user gets a feature mix on DJCity or a Serato sponsored set or a established DJ set. Mixes - Most mix posts will be deleted although short routines, showcasing of interesting technique, and videos that shows off the poster doing something cool is fine. Meme/Humor/crappy image posts belong in /r/DJsCircleJerk. Please ensure you are posting to the correct subredditĪny and all beginner questions and posts should be made in /r/Beatmatch. Trolling, slapfights, general assholery is not encouraged and it also goes without saying that racist, sexist, homophobic, and transphobic posts and language will not be tolerated at all. 
Please try to be polite, friendly and helpful when commenting. There is also an entire subreddit /r/Beatmatch dedicated to helping new DJs learn. If you are new and are interested in learning how to DJ please check out this thread first. Its a decent bit of kit, sounds decent and will do the job just fine if you want simple control of 2 channels in Traktor. r/DJs is a subreddit for general DJ discussion: equipment, techniques, news, music, etc. The Z1 feels a lot nicer than many controllers Ive used, but it still doesnt feel as nice as a proper mixer (the cross fader is especially crappy, but the updaders are ok and then knobs are good quality).
